Screen Printing

How many colours can you print?

  • We can print up to 8 spot colours. For full-colour images, we can also do CMYK on white shirts or simulated process prints on dark garments.

My client only has a jpg of their logo. Can you work with that?

  • An artwork charge will apply to make the art print-ready. This charge is dependent upon the complexity of the logo.

What is print-ready artwork?

  • Artwork must be in a vector format (.ai/.eps/.cdr and some .pdf). If you're not sure if your art is in a vector, send it to us and we'll let you know.

  • Any text in the art must be saved as outlines/curves to avoid font substitution

  • Lines must be at least 1pt thick to ensure print quality.

What type of artwork do you need for a full-colour process print?

  • For process prints, the image needs to be at least 300 ppi (pixels per inch) at the final print size.

  • Acceptable format files include .png/.tif/.eps/.psd

My client's logo needs to be a very specific colour. Can you match it?

  • Yes, we use the Wilflex Pantone matching system to ensure accurate colour-matching. Please specify the pantone number on your PO using the Pantone Solid Coated system. A pantone match charge will apply. If your client does not require an exact pantone match, you can select a colour from our stock ink chart.

Can you create a virtual proof that I can give to my client for approval?

  • Yes, we require proofs for all print orders. You can provide one to us when submitting your po or we will create a proof for you to get approved by your client. An art charge will apply for proofs.

What size of print do you recommend?

  • For left chest, we suggest 3-4”wide depending on the design.

  • For full front or back designs, 10-11” wide is a good size to fit a wide range of shirt sizes. Note that for hoodies, full front design size is constrained by the hoodie. On most brands, 9” high should fit on adult hoodies and approximately 6” high for youth hoodies.

  • Sleeve prints can be a max width of 3.5”.
